BERLIN: German chemicals giant Bayer said on Monday it would take a huge 2.5-billion-euro ($2.8-billion) write-down on the potentially carcinogenic herbicide glyphosate.
It warned that the write-down would push it into a 2.0-billion-euro net loss for the second quarter, and lowered its annual outlook.
