Japan's Kurashiki moved on cusp of a f berth after sweeping F2 Logistics, 25-20, 25-22, 25-19, in the Premier Volleyball League PVL Invitational Conference round robin semifinals at the PhilSports Arena on Tuesday, July 25.

In the process, the Ablaze booted out the Cargo Movers, Cignal, and fellow foreign guest team Kinh Bac-Bac Ninh of Vietnam from finals contention.
