LEGAZPI CITY: The island province of Catanduanes experienced heavy flooding due to rains brought about by Typhoon "Egay" on Monday, July 24.
At least five towns were heavily affected by the flooding, prompting Catanduanes Gov. Joseph Cua to order the suspension of government work and classes due to torrential rains.
