LAST weekend, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) hosted the public launch party of the all-new Toyota Wigo. Held at the Trinoma Activity Center in Quezon City, TMP showcased the latest iteration of the brand's best-selling hatchback. After showcasing the all-new Wigo, TMP hosted an exclusive media preview drive to experience the latest Toyota Wigo. Perfect for its intended use as a city car, the mini experiential drive was held at the Seda Hotel in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.
As the popular Toyota mini hatchback made its Philippine arrival, it received good reception for its refreshing exterior design but most especially for its transmission update. The all-new Toyota Wigo now sports a continuous variable transmission (CVT) system, ditching the conventional automatic transmission of the previous generation.
