PH needs to be more competitive – Nordcham exec

THE Philippines needs to be further competitive in attracting foreign direct investment, an executive of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (Nordcham) said.

Nordcham Executive Director Jesper Svenningsen said that there is a need for the Philippines to catch up, particularly focusing on more favorable tax incentives for investors while lowering down the electricity cost following the country's drop in the 2023 World's Competitiveness Ranking from 48th last year to 52nd in 2023.
