Senate approves 8 priority bills

THE Senate has approved eight of the 42 legislative priorities of President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. and the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council during the first regular session of the 19th Congress.

The Maharlika Investment Fund Act (MIF), signed by the President on July 18, 2023, is the Philippines' first sovereign wealth fund.
