Edcom 2 to address education concerns

The Second Congressional Commission on Education (Edcom 2) has been created by virtue of Republic Act 11899, which lapsed into law in July 2022.

The initiative aims to improve the Philippine education system in response to the negative performance of Filipino students in science, mathematics and reading during the 2019 Program for International Student Assessments.
