Marcos urged: Increase investments in health, education, agriculture

A political analyst has urged President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to increase investments in health, education, and agriculture programs in his second State of the Nation Address (SONA) as the country lifted its public health emergency over the weekend.

In an interview with The Manila Times, OCTA Research founder Ranjit Rye said that the lifting of the state of public health emergency was an achievement by the current administration but noted that much of the work during the pandemic was done by the past administration.
