THE Manila Times Lifestyle is putting the SONA outfits of Chief Public Attorney Persida Acosta and Sen. Robin Padilla side by side this year, only because it seems like they're rushing to a period movie set right after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s speech.

Acosta, the well-followed columnist of The Manila Times, definitely makes a statement, be it in writing or dressing as the case may be. But in this Fidel Marquez creation, she is more open to interpretation than the former.
