Nordic chamber urges upskilling of PH seafarers

THE Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (Nordcham) is calling on the government to upskill Filipino seafarers, as they have inadequate skills to qualify for jobs abroad.

Jesper Svenningsen, Norcham executive director, made the call as Filipino seafarers encounter bottlenecks in skills training and education that hinders them from landing a job abroad.
