Tropical storm 'Egay' slightly intensifies

(UPDATE) TROPICAL Storm 'Egay' (international name 'Doksuri') has slightly intensified while moving west over the Philippine Sea, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 5 p.m. bulletin on Saturday.

Egay's center was estimated at 685 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes, as of 4 p.m., with maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph.
