NEWLY installed Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. said Saturday that the AFP had already taken actions in preparation for the reinstitution of the mandatory Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC).
"We are training the officers and soldiers who will be managing the ROTC program because they have to be competent and professional. We do not want past [malpractices] in the ROTC program — such as hazing — happen again," Brawner told reporters.
