DA Region 2 prepares for El Niño

TUGUEGARAO CITY: Officials of the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 2 (DA-RFO2) said the agency has started implementing measures to mitigate the effects of the El Niño phenomenon in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley).

This is in response to the forecast by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) that the El Niño phenomenon will affect the country in the coming months.
