PLDT urges holistic, proactive cybersecurity approach

INTEGRATED telco network PLDT Inc. is urging businesses to adapt a holistic, end-to-end perspective on cybersecurity that guards against complacency and beefs up people's cybersecurity capabilities in order to stay resilient.

Many organizations have a false sense of security that if they have a firewall, intrusion detection systems (IDS), or end-point security they are already secure. That's a false sense of security,' PLDT Enterprise and ePLDT Chief Cybersecurity Evangelist Alexis Bernardino said.
