PAO deletes 'conflict of interest' posts

(UPDATE) AFTER issuing a public apology in regard to the 'conflict of interest' issue, the Public Attorney's Office (PAO) has deleted all its social media posts on the matter as a gesture of reconciliation with the Supreme Court.

The move came after the high court ordered PAO Chief Persida Rueda-Acosta to explain why she should not be cited for indirect contempt over her 'social media posts and newspaper publications' regarding a provision of the newly approved Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability (CPRA) that deals with conflict of interest.
