(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has urged the National Security Council (NSC) and the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) to continue upholding the Philippines' interests and the security of Filipinos as he hailed the two agencies for their "boundless service" to the country.
Speaking during the joint anniversary celebration of the NSC and the NICA at the Philippine International Convention Center on Thursday, July 20, 2023, Marcos recognized how these bodies have remained at the forefront of ensuring national security for more than seven decades.
