(UPDATE) TWO Philippine-made cube satellites have been deployed into space from the International Space Station (ISS), signaling another milestone in the country's space program.
The Maya 5 and Maya 6 cube satellites were launched on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 3 p.m. Philippine time from the "Kibo" module of the ISS, which is operated by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
