BERLIN: The producer prices of industrial products in Germany were 0.1 percent higher in June this year than in the same month of 2022, the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) said on Thursday. This was the smallest year-on-year (YoY) change recorded since December 2020.
Energy prices declined both year on year and month on month in June. Across all customer groups, electricity prices were 12.4 percent lower than a year ago. Light heating oil cost 42.4 percent less in June than a year earlier.
