SYDNEY, Australia: Authorities at an Australian World Heritage-listed island on Wednesday rejected calls for a mass cull of local dingoes, following a spate of attacks that have spooked visitors.

A 23-year-old woman is recovering in the hospital after she was mauled by several dingoes while jogging on K'gari, formerly called Fraser Island, on Monday.
