THE Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) is looking to implement changes both within and without in a bid to boost collections and also provide better services to taxpayers, its top official said.
By itself, and also with outside help, the BIR is working to address concerns such as corruption in the bureau, red tape and even taxpayer behavior, Commissioner Romeo Lumagui Jr. told The Manila Times in an interview.
