NEW YORK CITY: Lackluster Chinese economic data weighed on equity markets in Europe and Asia on Monday, while Wall Street stocks extended an upward swing ahead of major earnings.
Data showed China's recovery after lifting Covid restrictions was faltering as the economy grew by 6.3 percent in the second quarter, much lower than expected by analysts surveyed by Agence France-Presse (AFP).
