LEGAZPI CITY: At least 48 public schools in Albay province are situated within the danger zone of restive Mount Mayon, an official of the Department of Education (DepEd) in Bicol said.
Gilbert Sadsad, DepEd Bicol regional director, told The Manila Times that two of the 48 public schools are situated in a 6-km radius permanent danger zone (PDZ) and need to be relocated to safer ground.
