Man nabbed for trying to exchange $27M in counterfeit currency in Makati

A man has been arrested for illegal possession and use of counterfeit currency after he tried to exchange the cash at a foreign exchange dealer in Makati City.

Roel Sedano, 60, was arrested on Monday at Perea Street, Legaspi Village where police seized an estimated $27 million in bundles of counterfeit $100 bills inside a metal box, according to a police report on Tuesday.
