'Paracale town is gradually sinking'

PARACALE, Camarines Norte: The old parola in Camarines Norte is being gradually engulfed by the sea and numerous houses within the mouth of Paracale River and near the shoreline are inundated by sea water even during low tide because of the rising sea level.

'From the old parola, more than 20 meters wide of our shorelines taken by the sea,' Vice Mayor Bernadette Asutella said in an interview here.
