'Employees will pay for missing LGU vehicles'

BACOLOD CITY: The five employees of the Bacolod City government who were issued show cause orders will be obligated to pay for the missing vehicles that were issued in their names, Romeo Carlos Ting Jr., city legal officer, said.

Ting said the employees appealed to the Commission on Audit to relieve them of their accountability. 'Their appeal was denied by CoA citing that they were negligent in their work,' he said.
