THE country's baking industry is forecasted to grow at an annual growth rate of 5 percent to reach $2.5 billion in retail sales by 2027, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) said.
The USDA-Foreign Agricultural Service in Manila (FAS Manila) cited that in 2022, baked goods sold in the Philippines logged an estimated retail value of $1.9 billion.
