Langue tops para chess for women

Kayla Jane Langue, playing in the B1 or completely blind category, dominated the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and Pilipinas Para Games-backed chess tournament for women on Saturday, July 15, at the Athlete's Dining Hall of PhilSports Complex in Pasig City.

The 20-year-old Langue, who hails from Agusan del Norte, swept the double round robin format and scored 4.0 points against two other contenders in the B1 category.
