Groundbreaking held for Isabela rice facility

NAGUILIAN, Isabela: To lessen reliance on other countries for something as basic as food, a rice pro-cessing center 3 (RPC3) worth P184 million will rise in this town, according to the Department of Agri-culture (DA) in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley).

In a message delivered by Dr. Roberto Claro Busania, DA Region 2 technical director for operations, representing DA Region 2 Executive Director Narciso Edillo, the RPC3 will boost rice production in part-nership with Providers Multipurpose Coop. (PMC).
