LUNA, Apayao: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is keen on supporting Cordillera's quest for autonomy as lawmakers in the region urged him to certify as urgent the bill seeking to create an Autonomous Region in the Cordillera.

Speaking during the 36th Cordillera Day celebration on Saturday, Apayao Gov. Elias Bulut Jr. said the President was "inclined to help us."
