(UPDATE) THE city government of Quezon City has uncovered some 26,000 bogus persons with disability (PWD) identification cardholders following the implementation of an automated registration system that effectively identified and excluded fraudulent applicants and existing cardholders.
This was revealed by Mayor Maria Josefina "Joy" Belmonte as she lauded City Hall's Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) for implementing the rigorous verification process.
