Have you heard of odong noodles? It's a type of flour noodles native to Visayas and Mindanao and I have only come across this recently when one of our angels came back from her vacation in Catarman, Samar. It was a pleasant surprise!
Interestingly, odong noodles is (only) made up of flour and salt, making this an easy and absolutely cheap option for those who are vegan or vegan curious. A small pack is affordable and the entire packet consists of about 10 to 12 packs which can definitely feed a family.
