Viral 'blasphemous' video draws flak

(UPDATE) THE video of a drag queen dressed in a Black Nazarene costume singing a remix of 'Ama Namin' ('Our Father' or the 'Lord's Prayer') that went viral drew flak, with many finding it offensive.

Sen. Ana Theresia 'Risa' Hontiveros said while she found the video 'regrettable,' she cautioned the public against using the incident to deny members of the LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) community their rights.
