A 24-HOUR gun ban will be imposed in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon), Central Luzon, and the National Capital Region (NCR) on July 24, the day President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will deliver his second State of the Nation Address (SONA), the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Wednesday.
PNP spokesman Col. Jean Fajardo said the suspension of the Permit to Carry Firearms Outside Residence (PTCFOR) would be in effect from 12:01 a.m. on July 24 until midnight on July 25.
