HEAVY rains flooded parts of Metro Manila, especially in the cities along South Luzon Expressway such as Taguig, Pateros, and Muntinlupa, resulting in heavy traffic.

The Office of the Civil Defense-National Capital Region (OCD-NCR) said flooding was aggravated by the temporary closure of the drainage system to facilitate road construction in the area.
