PAO gets highest govt audit rating

THE Commission on Audit (CoA) has issued an 'unmodified opinion' as part of its annual audit report based on its extensive assessment of the Public Attorney's Office (PAO) for 2022.

'We have received this 'unmodified opinion' as early as March this year from CoA, and it only shows that we are doing the right way, especially in spending the taxpayers' hard-earned money with all honesty and utmost transparency,' PAO chief Persida Rueda-Acosta said.
