Govt agencies told to conserve water

THE Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) on Tuesday called on government agencies to reduce their water consumption as some of them rack up millions in water bills a month.

'We have government agencies that exceed P1 million for their water bill; some are more than P10 million per month,' DENR Undersecretary Carlos Primo David, who supervises the Water Resources Management Office (WRMO), said.
