Phivolcs refutes presence of side vent within Mayon

Legazpi City: The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) refuted the news that escalated on social media that a side vent has formed within the belly of the restive Mayon volcano.

Dr. Paul Alanis, Phivolcs resident volcanologist in Bicol said that the post of a certain Hubert Thomas saying that Mayon has a side vent is not true.
