JAPANESE Ambassador to the Philippines Koshikawa Kazuhiko said the defense and security cooperation between Tokyo and Manila 'flourished' since President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. took office in 2022.

During the 69th anniversary of the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF), Koshikawa expressed optimism and gratitude for the 'close and dynamic' relationship between Japan and the Philippines today.
