DESPITE recent studies showing increased acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community in Filipino society, members of this community continue to experience discrimination.
On June 25, 2023, LGBTQIA+ motorcycle enthusiasts and their allies took to the streets of Manila to advocate for equal rights, general acceptance, and empowerment of the Filipino LGBTQIA+ community. A total of 120 motorcycle riders gathered at SM MOA Globe in Pasay City for a lively parade to BGC in Taguig City, dressed in black attire adorned with colorful sashes and flags. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and enthusiasm.
