TOURISM stakeholders are hoping for a declaration of continued support from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for the industry at his upcoming State of the Nation Address (SONA).
In an interview with reporters in the sidelines of the event dubbed "Media Launch of Travel Sale Expo 2023" on July 5, 2023, Tourism Congress of the Philippines president Bob Zozobrano and Travel Sale Expo 2023 chairman and former Philippine Tourism Agencies Association president Michelle Taylan both said there is still work needed to be done for tourism to flourish in the Philippines.
