Region 2 farmers' cooperatives sell 92.9 tons of pineapple

TUGUEGARAO CITY: The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 2 (DA-RFO2), through the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD), assisted farmers' cooperatives and associations (FCAs) to sell 92,993 kilos of pineapples to institutional buyers in the country.

Region 2 DA-AMAD chief Rosario Paccarangan said this was a result of the implementation of the market linkage program of the DA between pineapple growers in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) and local and institutional buyers.
