Death of over 100 ducks probed

THE City Veterinary Office (CVO) of Koronadal City in South Cotabato has launched an investigation into the mysterious deaths of more than 100 ducks in a remote village here.

Jose Gaje, a duck farm owner in Gen. Paulino Santos village, said on Friday his caretaker told him the ducks were swimming on a mini-pond when they suddenly fell and died one after another. He suspects the ducks were poisoned.
