Gilas uses strong 3rd quarter run to rout Lithuania World Univ Games squad

Gilas Pilipinas turned the tide behind its torrid third-quarter surge as the national squad hammered Lithuania's World University Games team, 125-102 on Saturday in a tuneup game in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Trailing, 61-63 at the half, the Filipinos waxed hot in the third after exploding for 37 points, while limiting the Lithuanians to just 10 in a strong display of team defense.
