ZAMBOANGA CITY: Five people were injured after the engine of a motor launch caught fire off Zamboanga City in southern Philippines, village officials and the Philippine Coast Guard said.
The Coast Guard said the ML Lady Radia, manned by eight crew men, was sailing to Baluk-Baluk Island from the village of Rio Hondo on Thursday evening, July 6, when the fire broke out. It was carrying 100 liters of gasoline and other essential goods.
