Senate to deliberate NIR bill after SONA

BACOLOD CITY: The Senate will start deliberating on the bill that proposes the establishment of the Negros Island Region (NIR) after the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Negros Occidental Third District Rep. Francisco Benitez said on Wednesday.

'It is already on their agenda, but they don't have any schedule yet for when they will tackle it,' Benitez said.
