Expansion of PhilHealth's hemodialysis package lauded

SEN. Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go commended the Philippine Health Insurance Corp.'s (PhilHealth) decision to expand its hemodialysis package from 90 to 156 sessions.

'This is a step in the right direction toward providing better health care for all. With the increased coverage, more patients can now access life-saving dialysis treatment without being burdened by huge expenses,' the chairman of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography said.
