Magnitude 4.8 rocks Zambales

A magnitude 4.8 earthquake occurred Thursday afternoon in Zambales, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

Phivolcs director Teresito 'Toto' Bacolcol said the tremor happened around 3:16 p.m. some 26 kilometers southwest of Palauig town, also in the province.
