Customs exceeds June, midyear collection goals

THE Bureau of Customs (BoC) on Wednesday said it had exceeded both its June and midyear collection targets, with June's take of P74.861 billion raising the year-to-date tally to P434.169 billion.

The June result topped the month's target of P74.721 billion by P140 million, while the January-June total was P13.505 billion above the P420.66-billion revenue goal.
