Fitch Ratings lauds Sri Lanka's debt plan

COLOMBO: Fitch Ratings on Tuesday said that the Sri Lankan government's domestic debt restructuring proposal was a significant step in resolving uncertainties in its banking sector.

However, complications may arise from a number of factors, Fitch Ratings said in a statement.
