'Love letters' from death row: Singapore's pre-execution photo shoots

SINGAPORE: Death row inmate Nazeri Lajim beams at the camera, fingers raised in a 'V' sign, wearing a shirt emblazoned with large motifs and showing no sign of his impending hanging.

Taken days before his execution at Singapore's Changi prison, that picture of him is among the last mementoes Lajim's family has of the 64-year-old, who was executed on charges of drug trafficking.
